Chillfizz Senior Capstone
Chillfizz was a carbonated beverage brand that I created in an earlier class at CSU East Bay. In said class we only created the brand concept, a logo for our brand, two small packaging boxes, and a style guide.
For my senior capstone project, I conceptually explored and expanded upon the Chillfizz brand in three main ways: physical products that correspond to actual products sold by other beverage companies, motion graphics that promote the Chillfizz brand in the same way that other beverage companies promote and advertise their products on the web or on TV, and printed collateral that promotes the brand.
Motion Graphics Component
The motion graphics component of this project consists of three 25-second 3D rendered videos. Each video promotes one of the three flavors of Chillfizz that were presented in this capstone project.
Modeling of all assets, fluid simulation, and rendering was done in Blender.
Physical Product Component
The physical product component of this senior capstone project consists of 12 oz aluminum beverage cans with corresponding Chillfizz brand designs. The cans showcase three different Chillfizz beverage flavors, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Lemon Lime.
Can designs were created in Adobe Illustrator. 3D can models were created and rendered in Blender.
Printed Collateral Component
The printed collateral component of this project consists of 3 posters, each promoting one of the three Chillfizz flavors presented in the project, along with a promotional half fold brochure that goes into greater depth about the different flavors Chillfizz has to offer and the Chillfizz brand itself.
Poster and half fold layout were accomplished in Adobe InDesign. Images used in the posters and brochure were rendered in Blender.
